I dont have much experience with the 275's on stock suspension because my lift went in the day after wheels and tires but i dont see you running into any issues with the 275's if you're not going to do anything too crazy.

 

so my 2010 off road came with 275/70/17s and the guy put a one inch leveling kit on it (puck spacers) which are pretty cheap and then did some very minor trimming of the plastic in the wheel well and there was no rub at all. from what ive read the 2016 have about an inch more clearance and slightly larger wheel wells so you may be able to get away with it without anything or at the very least a 100 dollar puck spacer! I plan on doing something similar when I get mine, just until I can upgrade.

Sounds like i either need to wait until a lift, or get stock size for now. I'd like to do it all at once, but I'm not sure when that'll happen. I'd hate to put a spacer if needed just to turn around and do more suspension work. Thanks for letting me know from your experiences. While the roads I go aren't rock crawling, but some do have some sharp turns and angles.

 

Where did you order that from? I'm really liking the simplicity of it.

Thanks for the info. Please report back with lighting performance and if you encounter any hood reflection. I like how it sits far back within the roof rack and not directly over the window as most roof installs are.

I'm going to find some brackets to bring it a little more flush with the front edge of the roof rack. It's about 2" back as it sits now, modifying the brackets that came with the light bar.

 

Installed this today..Bought from CompleteAppearance. I like it. Maybe overpriced But I think it looks alright. Plan on doing a black and chrome theme with chrome wheels later so I think it looks good with the chrome bumper caps.

Replaced the Kicker sub with a shallow mount Pioneer. One thing I was surprised to learn is that this new Pioneer requires a larger cut out. 11.75 inches in diameter compared to 11.2. With that I used an extra sheet of ply as a template and began my work to widen the hole (Beavis approved!). The new sub slipped right in perfectly and sounds 100x better than the Kicker. We were actually amazed with the sound out of such a small box. It provided lows that weren't present before and has a wider scope of the bass frequency. By no means is it hitting SPL lows, but it does the job for now and I'm completely satisfied. Already have a new Pioneer amp on the way to provide some cleaner power than what I currently have. The AudioControl LC2i works great! Digital would work best, but if you're on a budget and don't have $1k to spend this is the ticket to clean up the sound.

If you're looking for an easy to install sub with decent results, I would definitely recommend this. This box will only fit in the center portion of the back cab wall, but it can be done while leaving the driver side cubby intact.

 

New Member and also first time Tacoma owner. So far I've gotten tint and applied door sills. I got my plates today but didn't want to drill holes in the front bumper.. So I drilled holes on top of the plate bracket and attached it to the air dam.

 

I got my Access Vanish cover today and installed it. It looks great but I would have to say it's only about a 90-95% fit. They could have made it fit better but at $300 I am happy though
