That sucks, keep after toyota I'm sure it's an easy fix....
The one I drove seamed a little quieter than my 2010, but that was just a test drive...
Has to be something with the seals.....

Mine has been at the dealer for 5 weeks. The cab vents stand open. The dealership has confirmed no fix for it and Toyota is balking saying my truck is fine.

Does this appear to be a double-cab problem only?
I have a new TRD off road Access Cab and do not hear this noise (The tires hum a bit, thats not the issue). Road noise is noticeably more than the Xterra I traded in, but its a truck I dont expect Lexus quite..;) No complaints on excess noise, here.

    OK, thanks.
Also - mine was built in Texas. Most of my driving is in that speed range (Rural Maine, back roads). Not many miles on it yet (600), but will keep and eye(ear) on it and report back if its noticed..

I waiting for a Lemon Lawyer Office to open. I made one last call to Toyota.

The Lead tech, The Service advisor and the Service manager drove my truck all say it's very bad.
Then Toyota Customer service called and said the dealership said normal.

They lied I called the dealer back all said it was bad and they reported it as bad.

Toyota is taking the low road. I called them back told them 1 MORE CHANCE they said they would get back TODAY.
No answer today from them I have 10k in hand to pay and sue.

I have a defective truck all of the 8 doors on both cab vents. STAND OPEN.
It cause's terrible road noise and sucking of air through the door gaskets.
I have a 2016 TRD access cab. US plant made.
I may be done commenting on this issue as I have a lawyer who wants my case.

I drove over 200 miles today....didn't hear the noise once. Most of it was highway, but I did have some in the 40-55 range that I've heard it at before. Only difference is I installed my Tonneau cover and waxed the truck over the weekend.

No idea why, but glad it's gone for now.
