...there are just as many people whining and complaining and nit-picking going on there about their 2nd Gen Tacomas as there is going on in the 3rd Gen forum, and those trucks have obviously been out way longer than the 3rd Gen! There's even a long list of TSB's posted in a thread. I just find it funny that those who seem to pop up regularly around here in the 3rd Gen forum that are relentless about commenting in almost every 3rd Gen topic (and it's almost like they cut and paste the same sarcastic comment into each thread with no creativity, regardless of the topic) don't even own a 3rd Gen, and some don't even own a Toyota. Others make the 2nd Gen's out the be perfect with no flaws whatsoever, yet I know buddies who have had major issues with frames rusting out, leaf spring issues, etc., along with a long laundry list of TSB's. I guess they feel the need to add their two cents in because they maybe read the 3rd Gen brochure (or possibly just looked at the pretty pictures) or went on a 7 minute test drive or know a guy who knows a guy who owns one, and now they're a 3rd Gen expert. If you really don't like the 3rd Gens that much why even bother participating in the 3rd Gen forum to begin with? Seems like there's plenty of things people are complaining still complaining about in the 2nd Gen forum to keep you guys more than busy!

I get your point but you're just giving the ones that troll this section one
more reason to do so and they, in their little minds, already have plenty.

True, true! But maybe they'll get distracted position in this thread for a while and give the rest of us a break in the other 3rd Gen threads so those of us who actually try to be sincere and help each other out will have less fodder to sift through on legitimate topics!

Until I just re-checked, I couldn't believe it either but this forum started around
this time last year and the trolls have been fat & happy all year.

Same thing happened several years ago on the Subaru forum when they redesigned the Outback, except the people over there are much more civil and respectful and much quicker to offer constructive criticism and help each other out, instead of just bashing each other simply because their opinions differ or they don't have the same exact vehicle as they do.

It doesn't bother me, it makes me laugh now and is entertaining. I blew out my back last week, and on heavy pain killers, steroids and muscle relaxers, so I just read those posts and chuckle. In between the posts from that group of members you really can find some good advice and helpful tips on here.

People are people, no one cares about anything but them selfs in todays society. Seems everyone thinks that if it's not theirs, it sucks. Then the keyboard tough guys get on, and that's scary.

As one of my favorite songs goes, FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE! When met with sarcasm, reply with brutal sarcasm and smart-assery. It doesn't change anything but you can't argue with a fool to begin with.

I used to do that, and I am a sarcastic MoFo for sure, but I find that those particular guys do it so they can get a response and then continue antagonizing. If you simply don't acknowledge them they have no fuel to continue posting and will usually move on to another thread.

I support this thread. That being said, I had zero issues with my '12.

We need a dmz between 2nd gen and 3rd gen sections. A first gener can be the neutral party that passes angry notes between the two. Come on 3rd geners, bring it!:crapstorm:. But in reality, we're all tacoma owners. There is comradery!!:D

    I will play along.....

Uhh sounds like somebody did not got Monistat warm enough :D
Wait... a second.... you comparing number of issues listed over 10 years of existence of the truck with number of issues of 3 months old truck ?
So if they the same does it make 2016 to be extreme garbage ? I mean if you have 10 times failure rate on 2016 Tacoma than on 2gen thats below even Colorado forum.

I dare you to find "Toyota solved Hood vibration with expendable foam" or "I did not make from dealer in my brand new truck" posts on 2gen forum.
How about a recall in frist month of production.

I think that is your nervous laugh. :D
All you did is just prove it that 2016 is extreme garbage because it has the same amount of failure (actually more) in 3 months than what 10 year old truck collected...
2016 Tacoma makes Chevy products feel like Maybach quality

I don't like Fox body Mustangs, or the SN95s for that matter. Or 1st thru 4th gen Camaros...Therefore, I don't hang out on forums for those vehicles. That would just be weird.
