Hey everyone, first time poster, past Tacoma owner from Wisconsin. I'm currently driving a 2010 F-150 Lariat Supercrew 4x4 and I'm contemplating "downsizing" to a 3rd Gen Tacoma. I'm curious as to how many of you have done so and either regret it, or haven't looked back. I've test driven two different 3rd Gen's and love the trucks. My F-150 is getting tired and I'm thinking it's time for a change. Your feedback is appreciated.

Do you tow anything of weight on a regular basis? If not I would embrace the new vehicle. I have two trucks at home...an 08' F-250 & a 16' Tacoma. I'd rather be driving the Tacoma any day of the week. Its easier to park, its more comfortable than my F-250 (its a work edition), & there isn't a question in the fuel economy department.

i changed from a 2010 f150 crew cab to a tacoma, its refreshing, drives a lot nicer, it is definitely smaller though, if you don't need the rear legroom its a good change

Thanks for the quick responses, guys. I do tow a small 17' aluminum boat and two-place snowmobile trailer (both are relatively light). My wife is concerned about the rear leg room, but we only have one child.

It'll do fine towing that. I tow a 18' fiberglass boat all the time without issue. The rear legroom is kind of tight. My parents rode back there last week and didn't complain. A child should be comfortable with room to spare.
