    How's it going everyone?

Just had a question about some wheels and tires I might be buying soon. Thinking about buying the XD misfits 17" wheels and some AT BFG tires 265/70/17

I don't think these will fit on my stock Tacoma with out rubbing or removing the mud flaps. So might just end up buying the 265/65/16 tires until I lift the truck. I've been looking at the icon suspension systems kinda confused on the different stages they offer...Kinda pricey the more you go up but stage 2 looks good for my price range... just seeing what other good options people recommend. Just looking for a 3" lift so I can get bigger tires in the future. Thanks!

Here's a few shots of the new ride. Loving this truck! I had to have one after going on a camping trip with my buddy and driving his around the mountains.

Most will tell you that 265/70-17 WILL fit just fine. some also say that there is very minimal rubbing and trimming the inner mudflap fixes that right up.

Well that's good news thanks for the response. I was just thinking going with the bigger wheel size would increase the chance of rubbing. Because when I try to order the tires for 265/70/17 BFG AT...it recommends a 3" lift on tirerack.com seems like it works for most people on stock just gotta remove the mud flaps which I don't mind removing anyways

if your're worried about trimming some plastic or removing mud flaps, anything bigger than 265 Will rub even with a lift. 265's might (Big might) rub. But it would be nothing to worry about. If you want to go bigger like 285's, plan on buying a sharp knife and removing mud flaps. The mud flaps will get ripped off if you wheel any way so you might as well take em off now.
