Most full coil overs I see have guys lifting in the 2.5 to 3 inch range. I only want to level my 2016 but want the option to raise it later if and when I put on better rear springs.

So my question is does anyone see an issue with using a full coil over like icon or king for only lifting the front 1 to 1.5 inches? Should I still install UCA or would I run into problems with UCA and only 1" of lift?

To better clarify will I run into an uptravel issue with coil overs set this low in their preload range?

No I imagine you will be just fine. When I got my kings originally they were off of my friends truck who had them set to maybe 2" of lift at most. I'd say less than that. And it rode very very nice and never had an issue

I run my icons with 0 ( no lift ) or preload. I use spindles for the lift. It will ride even better with less lift cranked in ( preload ).

I assume that if I went with the extended travel versions with UCA, the down travel should be really impressive with them set at only 1.5 inches. Is that assumption correct?
