I got a chance to give the new OnX6 a try. It is using the new Cree XP-L LED. The new XP-L is a 200 lm/w LED. Even though its ever so slightly smaller than the out going XM-L2, it seems to be a much better LED. The throw of the light seems to be the same, which means, further than I can see at night. However, it puts out significantly more light in the peripheral, or off to the side. It takes a great light, and gives it that "little bit" more. To add, the power cable is now exiting at a right angle, allowing for more mounting options, and use in more after market mounts, and brackets.

We are currently updating our website to reflect the latest information.
Chris posted the correct link to the OnX6. If you have a specific size you're looking for I can provide TW pricing as well

    Thank You!

Any chance you are going to move to a DT connector?

Naw....I'm pretty happy with the standard connector BD provides.

A few questions if you don't mind:

    1. I'm investigating an SSO Slim Line bumper. From the BD website the description of the onx6 says: "In addition, the OnX6™ LED light bar adopts industry standard sizing and is now compatible with aftermarket mounting systems." SSO has a BD S8 option, as well as Rigid and Heise. Does this 'industry standard' imply that OnX6 is different than the S8 and/or that the OnX6 is the same size as one of the others? Could you explain what standard is being referenced as it might apply to a 20"?
    2. In the 20" version can you have a mix of amber/white in either the S8 or OnX6? If mixed, both always on?
    3. As these are LED's has anyone ever thought about a dimmer for when the full OnX6 might be a little too much (in certain fog, etc.). I'm of course aware that not all LED's are dim-able.
    4. Still would like to know what "Front Zone Parking sensor system with pre cut mounting holes (To be used in conjunction with Plain Face lighting option) ($99.00)" means.
    Thanks!

    Sure!

    1. Years ago we used to offer 8", 15", 22", 30", 37", 44", and 51" sizings for our OnX light bar. When we released the OnX6 we brought the sizing to standard 10", 20", 30", 40", 50". The OnX6 and S8 share different housing dimensions. The SSO bumper accepts our S8 LED Light Bar, but will not work on the OnX6 due to the larger profile.

    2. We only offer Dual Control options for our OnX6 LED Light Bar. It's only an option on 30" bars and larger. You can control amber and white separately.

    3. Switch Pros, sPod, and other dimmers will work! We have many customers running them without issues.

    4. Not exactly sure - that is an SSO question :)

Thanks for the quick response. Sorry about the last question; got carried away!
