Which would be desecration of an extremely significant piece of art and culture, akin to the Taliban's dynamiting of ancient temples in the Middle East.
Agreed that Stone Mountain has a checkered past, but this is part of our Nation's history, and by the way, a fitting memorial to the men sculpted here, as are the sculptures on Mount Rushmore, whose history is intertwined with Stone Mountain.
