My sunroof leaks small drops of water in the carwash. Now it leaks when it rains. Anybody have this problem with their new 2016 Tomoca? Does the sunroof have an adjustment?

You may want to do a search. I remember reading a little while back that a few members were having trouble with their sunroofs closing and leaking because there's an initial setup protocol that the dealers were supposed to do when they take delivery of the truck that was overlooked. Once this was addressed the issue stopped.

Hopefully OP Toyota will find a quick fix for you. rant on: Sun roof's are a waste of glass and compromise the structure of the vehicle...jhmo

    hold on bub

toyota factory sunroof roofs (except panoramic), are stronger than plain roofs
They add extra structural support around the sunroof that's tied into the rest of
the structural support for the roof. and the rounded corners act as arches and
braces and make it more resistant to crumpling from the side

aftermarket sunroofs are the weak ones

    that is a good example

I rolled my 99 4runner limited over in the woods and the roof just crinkled a bit just like that
subi.....largely intact, no collapse, glass didn't break

I trust a factory sunroof all day long

yes I did have to cut the whole roof off and install a new one but I used the old
sunroof glass, guts, track and motor. worked great

I went to the Toyota dealer and they said the seal to the sunroof had a crack in the rubber. Unfortunately they had to order a whole new sunroof because they don't come separately. They replaced my sunroof and left me with another problem. When I drive down the road I hear air whistling from the sunroof while it's closed. It seems that the sunroofs is not making a good seal. The dealer has my truck again, so hopefully they will fix it right the second time. I'm regretting getting the sunroof now. Not sure what to do if they don't get it right. This dealer has never worked on any of these trucks yet.

F150 have 0% for 60 months sale on 2015 models.
Titan XD orders can be placed, I dont advise Colorado or Canyon diesel because they have so many orders they runnign out of the parts so you will wait for the truck..

I agree with you, but I get new trucks every three years so it really doesn't matter.

I'm sure they'll get it worked out, eventually. Just be patient, and glad that it isn't a major mechanical problem.
Like the service bulletin for the "windshield kazoo" problem.

I love having a sunroof on a vehicle. I haven't had one since my old Nissan truck. They are a great way to circulate fresh air with little noise.
Do the new Tacoma sunroofs flip up at the back? or do they drop and roll back into the roof? The kind that flip up are a lot better.

A few owners have had this issue but most of us have not. Good thing about new vehicles, usually they're under warranty. Take it in and make them fix it.
