Was thinking of reupholstering driver and passenger seat on 2005 Tacoma. Anyone out there have someone they would suggest in San Diego? Thank you.

I was referred to SOS Upholstery in Oceanside a few years ago. They replaced several sections of the leather seats on one of my prior vehicles. Color and texture match was good and workmanship was solid.

just do it yourself, it is not hard, just take your time. i just re-did my whole interior like a month ago. ask around, i am sure some members have some new OEM fabrics laying around after they did an upgrade. if you need help with install i can walk you through it. i paid $200 for the entire set of brand new fabrics, took a couple hours to do my first section of 1 seat, by the time i was finished and figured out the quirks... took about 30 minutes to do the last one. 1 tip is to just cut the metal rings that fasten the bars that run through the seat fabric to make the tight creases, then use zip ties to re-fasten, JUST LEAVE THE TIES LOOSE! tighten them to the same size the metal rings were. I tightened them all the way on passenger seat and had to do it all over again. there has to be some wiggle room when seat is squished when someone sits on it. (there is 8 pieces, upper/lower on each seat)
