I don't own a 2nd gen Taco but I have a set of wheels I bought from a guy who had the TX model in the grey color. My question is, does anyone know what color the grey is and can I buy the paint somewhere? I put them on my FZJ80 Land Cruiser and today I found a single wheel in the bronze color and I need one for a spare but I need to paint it so I can do a 5 tire rotation. I figured this was probably the best place to get the answer to my question. Thanks for your help

BTW,these are the wheels I have

Don't paint it, find someone here to trade, it's typically cheaper.

Any good body shop will be able to match it for you. If your painting it yourself then an auto body paint supply should be able to match it and sell you a pint, though they may want to sell you a full quart. A tiny mismatch in color won't be noticeable. It's not like painting body panels where the undamaged panel is usually blended to account for tiny variations in the color. The wheels are too far apart from each other. Nice truck btw.

Great idea, Toy4me. The wheel is brand new and they want $125 for it so even if I have to pay a little more for paint, still a good deal.

Thanks, I've been working on the 80 for about 5 months now and still have sliders and a rear bumper to go. I'm going with dual swing-out on the rear bar so the 35" spare will ride in the back. I like the idea of rotating 5 tires to get some extra miles out of the set.

Those wheels look slick on the 80!

That color is classified as 'Gun Metal Grey', so will probably pretty easy to color match! Good luck! I sold a set of those last year, they are still pretty hard to come by, as they only made them for a couple years!

We took it and did a color match, worked perfect. My paint guy did a heck of a job and matched the finished also.
