Chrome clads how do I remove them off my rims?

    I have my stock 18 inch rims but want to remove the plastic chrome clads off my rims anyone ever do that?

    You mean like the ones on the limited?

    Some dude took the time to peel his off. It was a huge pain, but turned out nice. There is adhesive on each spoke. He used a tool to pry the clad covers from the actual alloy rim.

    Look at your spare, that is what it will look like without the chrome clad.

    Yea I have the limited and purchased other rims now I still have the clads wanted to sell them but if they don't sell was thinking of plastic dip

    Just use paint.

    Light sanding. Self etching primer. Paint color of your choice.
