This will be my third Tacoma. I currently have a 2006 Ridgeline which has been a great truck over the past 10 years. Previosly have owned a 1999 Tacoma access cab and a 1992 Taco regular cab. Both previous Taco's have been awesome trucks and the only reason I went with the Ridgeline for my last truck was the trunk and the extra room in the back seat.

I test drove the OR and Sport and my Sport with the cover came in last Saturday and someone at the dealer sold it. They assured me that my name was on the truck and didn't require a down payment but found out Monday that it was sold. I am now waiting on a dealer trade which will not have the cover. Reading through the many threads I am not sure I want the factory cover and it seems like Toyota is actually not putting them on the trucks due to some issues with the rubber in the hinges and leaking.

I have already found some great information on the these forums. I will be inquiring about the new weather proof mats and will not except anything but the new ones when I pick mine up hopefully tomorrow. I have an appointment to get the windows tinted and also put on a cover since it wont be coming with the factory one.

I see that there are different tires coming from the factory. I am hoping mine come with the Firestones Destinations as I have had very good mileage on these tires. Have never owned the Toyo's and would doubt these would have the extended tire life as the Firestones. I have got 40k miles out of the last 2 sets of the Destination LE2's installed on my Ridgeline and a set on myh 2011 Highlander.

Cant wait to get my new truck, will post some pics when I get the accessories on.

Thanks. Just picked up new Taco. Stopped and got all windows tinted, ordered the new all weather mats I heard about on this forum and tried ordering mud guards from dealer but they said they couldn't get them. Waiting for extang 2.0 fold up to come in. Will post some pics tomorrow.
