Hello fellow Tacoma owners. Let me tell you a little about myself. I am 42 years old and I just got back from a 5 month stay in Germany (job training). While I was there I learned, through talking with friends, that we have some real freedoms here in the USA. Freedoms like cheap fishing, being able to afford a 4X4 vehicle, and to own a gun. So, upon my return, I have begun to fulfill what I had been taking for granted all this time. First I bought a Remington 870 12ga. shotgun. Next, a 2016 Tacoma (crew cab, 4X4, V6, Automatic, SR5, Long Bed). Tomorrow I will head out to buy a new Shakespeare/Ugly-Stick combo rod/reel. It's silly, I know, but you wouldn't believe the affect it had on me to be there all that time. It's been nothing but country music, either, since I have returned. Before you think "poser", I have owned guns, and fished many times before, but this is my first 4X4.

So far, all I have done to my truck is to remove the front-bumper spoiler. I want to do a few more things: Tint the front door windows, put on nerf bars/running boards, bump up the tire size, leveling kit (possibly with new suspension). I'm not sure what, if anything, else I will do. Aside from the tint and tires, I have no idea, what this will cost me. Anyone here care to clue me in? By the way...I've wanted a 4X4 Tacoma since my dad sold the like in 1989-1990. For those math-challenged, that is 25+ years. :)

Thank you guys! I'm about 1/2 way through my first 1000 miles and I am eager to drive her a little bit harder and see what the performance is really like.
