Got a quote for $650 (shocks included) for installation of 5100's on all 4 corners at a local off-road shop. I don't have the means/skill to install myself.

Is this a reasonable price? They estimated 1 hr per side and padded an hour for any surprises. I'll pay actual labor in end, so cost could be less than quote.

Does that include alignment or are you lifting at all?

    I think it's reasonable.

Replacing shocks in front is more laborious than the rear.

Working by myself with hand tools. I can change both rear shocks in 30 minutes. Just did it yesterday...

Front is 80 minutes for both sides.

That's working as fast as I can with hand tools and nothing going wrong.

    Shocks cost about $100 each.

Was only setting front to .85 to level it off a bit. I've got the 4 leaf (TSB) pack in the rear, so even with my Leer, I'm still a tad high in the rear.

No alignment inlcuded....I'd schedule that for right after install.
