Well, I got her out into a housing Devel. And took some time to crash through some semi-frozen puddles, giving her a little bit of a 'paint' job. Got some donuts in and a chance to play with the traction settings (Always a good idea to learn/practice with the new perks!).

First oil change today as well and I have a question, couldn't find a thread on the subject. I was surprised to see 'frothy gunk' under the oil cap. Any ideas on if it's a problem or if I'm thinking there's something wrong when there isn't?

Only thing problematic is the feeling that you essentially trespassed and vandalized a construction site so you could do donuts and fling mud on your truck for the internet.

Feel free to confirm or deny, I don't know.. maybe you own all the land you just tore up.

I apologize for offending the keyboard wielding trolls... Lot's of assumptions going on in that reply...

Can anyone tell me about the gunk in the oil cap?? I doubt I have much to worry about but better safe than sorry. I know the guys on this site know these trucks better than just about anyone else.

That trespassing goo. Happened to me a couple times. Not really an issue unless the cops see it or the dealership sees it and tells the cops

Sun Dog, from time to time a few old ladies show up here to wring their hands, point their fingers, and make accusations and assumptions they know nothing about. I'm glad you had a good time with your truck, and that stuff under your oil cap is nothing to worry about.

    Please.

If he was on his property he wouldn't have said "I got into a housing development."

That's trespassing no matter how you slice it.

Now he has some tiny little mud flings on his side mirrors at the cost of what? Trespassing illegally, and vandalizing privately owned property.

Not cool. I don't care how great your truck looks with 4 oz of mud on it.

You deserve no applause. If you want to know what your frothy oil cap is, ask. But don't brag about being a douchebag on private property.
