Pretty much stock with some crap welded to it.
To start everything off, let me introduce Delilah.

my girlfriend picked her up with 165k miles on the automatic tranny, and a 4.5l I6
it was love at first sight! she was 110% stock, it even had the factory cruiser mud flaps,
Delilah was pretty well equiped from the factory,
    factory roof rack
    factory front locker
    factory center locker
    factory rear locker
    factory leather
    factory sun roof
31" firestone at tires that are basically brand new,
her plan is to keep this thing as mellow as possible, not a whole bunch of crawling or anything like that, but mostly her grocery getter, ill try to influence her to build it up as much as possible but for now she is going to get some fresh paint on the trim, a good cleaning, and hopefully a nice roof rack!

her hatch is suffering from some rust unfortunately, hopefully well be able to throw some was on it and see if we cant get most of it out.

Looks good Jake. I think I checked that one out when I was looking for mine. Keep your eyes open on local junkyards and I bet you can find a rear hatch. Also......the truck has a 4.5L I-6, not a V6. ;)

She'll thank you if you can find a set of used (or buy new) OME coils/shocks. Will ride so much better than stock and doesn't have to go big with a basic lift. My old 80 had the OME medium springs on it and they work great on a truck that doesn't have a lot of extra weight like bumpers and other armor and stuff. Check out IH8MUD classifieds, there are coil sets popping up all the time for cheap.

If it were me I'd at least check the local junkyards for a rear hatch. If you can find one I'm sure it would be cheaper than having yours repaired and repainted. All years should work fine and there are often a lot of white ones so you might get lucky and find a match.

first things first this thing has been bastardized and dirty. its needs to be cleaned, she got it for 3700 so i feel like she got a decent deal where she could work with a few things..

Mostly, right now I am out of brackets but should have them in next week. Just picked up an entire truck bed of extrusion crossbars so I am all stocked up on those.

for now, clean clean, maintenance, then more cleaning, I want to make sure this thing is up for dd duties again, the po claimed to have had it as a third vehicle only driving it 3-5k a year, this is all find and dandy but it looks like some basic stuff that needs to be done was put on the back burner.. Sooo to answer ur question, in the end, hopefully a mild suspension set up, nice rack up top, and if I have my way, f/r bumpers, snork, I'd like to pick up a fridge to mount in the back, so a very mild build for sure. :)
