    Hello everyone,
I just installed a Rough Country 3" lift on my daughters 4runner I now have a bad vibration when I hit 65 the goes away around 77-80. I really cant tell where it is, seem the whole truck vibrates but not in the steering wheel or pedals. The only thing I can think of is the drive shaft angle was changed due to the lift and maybe its a bad u-joint.

    Any thoughts any input appreciated
    Thank you
    Otto

UPDATE: After doing some research, I took out the rear driveshaft and went for a drive...............I had a vib at 65.but no where near as bad as before. Went home installed the front Diff drop kit, went out again and no vib at all. I then greased the heck out of the rear shaft which all u-joints had no play at all. Took for another drive and all vibs were gone.

Thanx for posting your results. Nice to know the solution was that simple.
Funny that removing the rear DS made any difference at all.

FYI, in case you didn't know, Tacomas that have manual hubs (like mine :D), would not have had this issue, since the front diff and CV's don't spin at all when in 2WD.
