Have fun, it will be a nice addition to a great rig. Assuming you got my email about the deflector. I will get the one with the cut out sent as soon as I get them.

Yup, pulled it out and thought "oh crap its the wrong one" checked the receipt on my dads email and saw your reply. No problem about it, I don't have the light bar yet anyway. Thanks for the awesome service!

All put together, ill put it on the truck tomorrow. To mount the light bar (when I get it) do I drill holes into a cross bar for the mounts?

I had the same problem. I drilled the bottom 2 holes out till they fit and went with a larger washer.

Thanks fellas! Zach, a pair of your racks is on my wish list for sure, I'm bummed to hear the first gen racks haven't taken off very well. For me, the prohibitive part isn't as much the drilling holes in my roof, as it is the being a broke bike mechanic. I hope to get some Prinsu rolling around Colorado!

Another question.. I only got 7 cross bars total, talking to @ChandlerDOOM he said he got 8 (6 regular and 2 for the wind deflector).. Am I missing a cross bar or did you change the design since he had gotten his?
when were you crossing through Vancouver bc?? I sware I saw you this last weekend up there.. If not it's a look alike. No matter it's a good looking truck

The current design uses (1) 2" x 1" crossbar to mount the wind deflector vs (2) 1.5" x .75" crossbars. Originally I tried to do it with (1) 1.5" x .75" bar to keep it light but the wind would vibrate the deflector and move it up and down requiring 2 bars. The 2" x 1" bars have 2 rows of slots vs 1 single slot and having the deflector bolted in on both slots keeps it from moving up and down.

Anyways finally got it on. For anyone that hasn't installed yet I suggest loosely mounting the side rails on the truck then mount the cross bars. I had to take mine all apart to be able to move each side for the holes to line up, made it so much easier. Had to grind back the driver front mount to get the bolts straight into the holes but other than that went smooth. Thanks again Zach!
