hi, so the past few weeks my auto choke has not been working at all. When i start my truck up it idles at normal temp, (a little less then 1k rpms) when it is cold...This is not normal because i know my truck and usually when it's cold it idles at about 1500 - 2k when first fired up. I just fired it up a minute ago and it was idling at normal operating temp, problem is theres 6 inches of snow on it so I know theres no way that it's not cold enough for the choke to come on. Anyway I'm assuming this isn't good for the engine (since if it really didn't matter then why do vehicles have auto chokes in the first place) so my question is, how easy is this to fix? I'm not a mechanic but a little tight on cash right now so hoping it's an easy adjustment for a mechanic...thanks...it's a 97 tacoma 4x4 ex. cab

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Everything that says "OEM Toyota" on it is gold plated, haha! OEM is good, negotiably the best for most applications, but sure is pricey as can be..
