Here are the wheels!! Ended up doing some tinkering trimming to get the rubbing to go away. Main problem was the alignment. Got looking and for some reason the techs set the passenger side with about 2* less caster than the driver. They had the driver side LR Adjustment star in the +2 setting and the passenger side in the 0 or stock setting. Something I should have checked before I left there but didn't. I did an adjustment in the driveway today and left everything as is but increased the caster. No rubbing now. I did however trim the plastic on the inside of the fender flares and do the CMC before I found that stuff out. Needless to say I have plenty of clearance now to stuff those things at any angle. Absolutely love the feel of the wider stance and definitely can feel a difference on the highway.

Also, I realized I never updated this thread when I got my front bumper powdercoated and did some remodeling so here are some throwback photos. The fairlead I got from TJM was worn down and the zinc plating was starting to flake off and rust underneath causing some issues for the synthetic line. So I ended up getting a factor 55 fairlead with the extra large radius lip to help with the high angle pulls. Haven't used it yet but it is slick. Also got the fatlink pro to replace my old Pro link. Nothing wrong with the prolink but I like being able to stick a hook or larger clevis through the fatlink pro if needed.

And a rack photo with some buffalo in the background.

That stance! I never thought I would be interested in getting new wheels. You're doing a good job of proving me wrong. It's looks great.

Really enjoy your build man, nicely done truck!! I hope my very slow build ends up really similar to how your truck is sitting now.

Ordering my pelfrey hybrid front bumper soon and plan on aluminum skids and potentially a winch as well.(already have sliders on). Pretty sure I'll have to upgrade my 885s up front to 886s to compensate for the added weight.
Overall have you liked the set up on the 886s? I've heard plenty about harsh ride, which as long as it's not excessive I'm ok with a bumpy ride.

Which brings me to the next question. I see you have new suspension plans in the works! If you plan on selling off your 886s I wouldn't mind picking up a broken in pair! Maybe being broken in the ride wouldn't be as terrible as new ones in the beginning :)

I always said wheels would be the last thing I did because they were mainly an aesthetic thing. There are so many more benefits now I don't know why I didn't do it earlier.

I ran my 885s with the plate bumper and winch for awhile. The ride was actually really nice but unfortunately they started to sag over time. Depending on the weight of your hybrid bumper you may be able to keep the 885s. The 886 coils now have broken in pretty well. My biggest complaint has been the lack of rebound dampening of the OME shocks. I have heard people switching to bilsteins and having good luck but that is the reason I finally decided to go with something different.

The ride isn't harsh at all any more it and compression is good, just the rebound and the shock abruptly topping out that isn't so great.

I will be selling all my old suspension stuff though once I get time to put the news stuff in so I will keep you posted.

So, bit of bad news today. My ST Maxx on the driver rear quarter got its first puncture. Picked up a nice big staple in a gas station parking lot where they couldn't even get the gas pump to work out in the middle of nowhere. Stuck a plug in it since it was a pretty small hole but I was still a little pissed since the tires are about 1/2 - 3/4s worn which makes replacing it a pain and I really don't like having a patched tire for adventuring.

Full size spare? Swap it out and use the plugged for spare? I have never had any reservations on running a (well) plugged tire. Although that is probably bad advice. I guess it depends on your terrain and piece of mind.

I have a full size spare but it is a KM2. I will probably end up running he plugged one for now. I will drop it off to have it sealed on the inside too just for good measure.

Probably more my ocd than anything that keeps me from swapping in a new one to replace it. I hate having to run a new tire with 3 others that have 1/2 to 3/4 tread

Thank you for the feed back.
I have some 5100s that I've been sitting on, can always throw those on with the 886 if I have similar rebound problem.

Sounds good, for sure let me know when you are getting rid of your old suspension!

The front end is done. All new parts are in. I need an alignment and a nap. My wifes family has been in town and between them and my family the truck had to be worked on late at night. It was quite the endeavor and I definitely will be taking a break from doing big projects like that for awhile.

    Mods completed:

    -New wheel bearings
    -Total Chaos UCA
    -Total Chaos LCA
    -Total Chaos Spindle Gussets
    -Total Chaos Cam Tab Gussets
-King 2.5 Extended Travel Coilovers with 700# Springs

    Pictures coming shortly.
