I am going to be taking possession of my 2016 TRD Sport DC w/ tow, tech and JBL on Monday. They are going to swap over my tube steps, TRD Pro wheels and maybe the tires. I currently have a set of Cooper AT3's which I like with 20,000 miles on them. With the crap tires that have been coming out on tacomas the last few years, keeping the Coopers even with the miles was a no brainer for me. But I saw my 2016 today and it has the firestones on it. I have recently heard these are a good snow/ice tire as well as quiet. They don't have the semi-aggressive look of the Coopers and the coopers handle the snow and ice fine. Some dirt/gravel roads at camp are about the extent of off pavement driving, but we get our fair share of snow and ice here in upstate NY. I'm on the fence now, If you were presented with just these two choices, which would you go with:

Cooper AT3's with 20,000 miles or the New Firestone Destination LE2's.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Id stay with the F stones myself but I dont have snow/ice issues here. I like them on mine and they ARE quiet. When they wear out I will get something else. The oem F stones will fit a 7-9" rim. Are you sure the dealer will install used tires on a new vehicle before delivery? I am going to get TRD Pro wheels after the holidays and run them on my 265/65-17's.

Swapped tube steps, tires and wheels for me on my last truck as well. Had Coopers and FJ TRD's on that truck. Part of the deal. The coopers are currently on my pro wheels on my 14.

Those LE 2 tires are actually very good tires, I have owned a set. They are not mud or snow tires or AT but are a very good all season tire
Much better than the Dunlop prices of crap mine came with.

Go with the LE 2s. I have them on my Highlander and Taco. They are good tires.
