Have been thinking about installing some rock lights on the rig. I was originally looking at the Rigid Industries Rock Lights.. But thought the price for (4) lights was just not worth it.

So after a couple of late nights looking at the inter webs I stumbled across this company.

    http://ledrocklights.com/index.html

I love the idea that they are magnetized against the body and seem easy to move around for the best coverage. While it's still little pricy (almost as much as the RI, but you get (12) instead of (4)).

Does anyone have any experience or reviews with these? Looks like a good deal to me.

I know it's a jeep, but the install video is pretty straight forward.

I bought them, haven't had time to install yet. I purchased the pack of 8. Figured 3 per side and one in the rear and front. Ill post pics when I get around to installing.

Iv'e mocked them up and played around with where to place them. The magnets are incredibly strong and it's an awesome options for being able to move them around if needed once installed. That's what sold me on them. I didn't want to install lights in a certain area and be disappointed in the placement after drilling/installing them.

Be careful where you end up placing them. Understandable you want the one in front and rear. This is with 12 lights. 8 will be fine I think just think about placement as well. I was lucky to get extras for waiting so long for them

Yes. They are held on with magnets. I have 3 25# pull magnets on each side to "magnetize" the frame and give a stronger pull. Wiring goes along the frame and is tucked behind there and held with zip ties

Yes I ran mine along the frame and through the holes already placed. Once the weather gets better I can take a video and post it up showing where I mounted and ran them. Weather is kinda shitty in Chicago right now. I'm not sure if it showed in video bc I kinda skipped around to give you a response but if you want to mount it where there is no metal they give you 3m strips. The lights I got looked different than these. I'll take some photos and a video hopefully in the morning for you guys though. Happy to answer any questions for you guys and will post them here and on my thread

No worries. I went a head and ordered a set of the DeLUX light package with (12) LEDs. Will post some pics once I get them installed.

This look cool actually. These are little pods so you don't have to worry about where to put a strip. And are shock absorbent as well so ideal for wheelin
