    2 inch level kit
Hey I'm new to the forum, just bought a 2006 Tacoma TRD, with almost no miles on. I got a 2 inch leveling kit and was wonder how big of a tire can I put on it with it rubbing? I am planning on putting new bumpers on it a couple weeks too, could that make a difference on what will fit?

265/75/16s (31") will fit without rub, stock.

    With a 2.5" lift, I can fit 285/75/16s. (33")

You can try 285, but most people have to do a 3" lift AND trim.

    I'd go 32" tires or 31".

AFAIK, lift doesn't do anything to prevent rubbing on the pinch weld, cab mount, and mud flaps. That's where 285s will rub.
