Sure they do. Are they cranked to max lift though? I don't know, and I'm guessing you don't either. Did they come up with custom springs for the 3rd gen? Maybe. I wouldn't spend the >2K ARB is going to demand for a full set without knowing that though.

Sterdog, do you have a 2016? No offense, but have you rode in a 2016 with coilovers? Trying to understand where your perspective is coming from.

The 200 lbf difference you cited, or about 100 lbf extra on the front is not enough to matter much. My ride does not change when my wife rides along.

I gotta go. Family time. How much lift did you get with the Icons?

My perspective is that even 100 lbs of weight on the forward end of the truck can cause issues getting max lift (3") without over preloading the stock coilover. 2016 or not.

2016's stock suspension is preloaded 1" higher than 2005-2015. Since the weight is not that different, if you swap your coilovers as-is onto a 2016, the front end will be at roughly the same height as yours, but would represent only a 1.75" lift over factory for anyone taking a before-and-after measurement.

The first thread stickied in the 3rd gen section, written by Toytec, is a worthwhile read: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/what-you-need-to-know-about-lifting-a-2016-tacoma.395798/:

    Well said.

I've noticed that Icon's website has a seperate section for "2016-UP" now. This looks like a new addition to prevent further customer confusion. I assume this wasn't in place when the OP ordered their parts.

No but he was pissed off when he first wrote this for the first 25 mins. My solution was "I figured out the problem!!! There's this thing called a return, maybe you should look into that."

I've got stage 5 with extended travel cdcv coil overs and icon UCA'S. I've got just under 2 inches of thread showing and the truck rides amazing. Honestly, OP is just a little too high on his horse and doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. Blasting his nonsense on as many threads as possible is just annoying.

Correct. Same part numbers (Icon 58630 coilovers for example) but lower resulting lift range 0"-2" vs. 0"-3.5".

    Hey Jerry,
U have some sort of affiliation with icon?

When I messaged you before I bought my set up u said u had no issues with rubbing with 285s, Icons recommended tire size with this lift btw. I buy my set up tell u I have rubbing with the exact same set up then u admit u had some rubbing until a recent alignment which supposedly fixed it. However anytime anybody asks u for hub to fender or pre and post measurements Or alignment numbers u never have an answer.
I asked u how many inches of thread u had showing. U said u had WAY more then 2 inches showing and your ride was still good. I knew that was BS because I'm at 2 and there is no way I'd go higher. Now u just stated your under 2".

And every post is about how awesome your icon set up is. I have this set up and I spent some money on it too but its nothing to get excited about. Definitely not getting more then 1.5" lift at 2 inches thread either.

Things just don't add up with u. Seem a little shady man. Don't care if u do have some affiliation but why BS?

Ha ha, wow dude, I help you out with your repeated quetions, yet I'm shady? Cool story bro.

If you bothered to gather some real info, then you'd know that I recently installed my uca's and at subsequent alignment, adjusted castor angle the wrong direction, thus causing some rubbing which was easily remedied and maintained alignment within factory spec. Mind you, as mentioned to you before, i did not have any rubbing before that. So before you go throwing stones, check your facts so you don't make yourself look stupid.

As for my threads showing, I adjusted them down since I last spoke to you, and my apologies for not updating you on my every move. Next time I take a shit, I'll be sure to send you a memo ;)

I work in an office and don't carry a tape measure everywhere I go, plus with a house remodel going on, the holidays and work, I'm just a bit busy.

Not affiliated with icon, but believe in a well made, well designed product. My bad for trying to help you out, learned my lesson. So please don't litter my inbox with your questions.

    Later dude

This is exactly what I mean. What are your magical alignment numbers that fixed all the major rub issues? what are your hub to fender measurements. Oh u don't know right? Why so many excuses? Why don't YOU go gather some real info until then I call bull shit.
Your ride was so awesome way past 2" why would u drop it then?
Trust me man your not helping anyone feeding them your bs. There is no way your not going to rub at all with 1.5 lift, but just go suck off Icon some more.

Again, cool story bro, but I'm done wasting my time on you. Believe it or not, my mission in life is not to appease some douchebag keyboard commando. I've already explained everything in numerous pms and other threads. What little free time I do have is currently consumed by many other things. Call whatever you want, but guess what, my truck doesn't rub, rides better than yours and is aligned perfectly. The key to the alignment is having a little knowledge, which clearly you do not, and a good relationship with the tech doing the alignment. A little combined brain power and problem solving can work wonders, meanwhile, you're just on here stomping your feet like a spoiled 4 year old that didn't get his way. Have fun being bitter.
