Proud owner of a '16 Taco with the XP package from the Southeast Region. I'm told the Southeast is the only region to market these. Not sure if that's a good thing or even an economical choice. It is after all an SR5 with a few goodies like a wheel/tire upgrade, predator nerf bars and oh, those fancy XP badges. And a chrome tail pipe too. This new generation of Tacos presents, as most everyone is aware by now, challenges in finding accessories and even OEM parts. I have been particularly interested in mud guards (I see some threads on this issue) and the problem arises--flares or no flares. I ordered Mud Guards from the dealer when they became available and guess what? I have no flares. That would be a sloppy fit. So flares become the next thing to search for without waiting for Weather Tech or someone else to come up with a solution. Kinda would like the flares anyway. They should be readily available as they are part of an SR5 appearance package. Or should I wait for Bushwacker to get some pocket flares? Any ideas on painted flare procurement? Going to need a bug deflector too. A K&N air intake is on my mind too. Thanks for any and all inputs.
