So i purchased the Bilstein 5100. Just wanted to get some opinions on the ride quality with the Eibach spring. Searched around but not many threads have answers. Trying to figure this out before i install the lift.

    Achievements: Level the truck out.
Current: Stock front and TSB rear leaf.

If you guys don't mind giving me the ride quality with either
5100 billys and stock coils set at 1.75"
5100 bills with eibach set at 0"

If you have a thread, please post.

    Thanks in advance.

    Use stock coils or OME.

Eibach has a higher spring rate than both and will ride stiffer than either would.

The same shit everyone else has.
The Eibachs will ride a bit stiffer than stock on the 5100s. I ran 5100s at 1.75 and stock TRD Off Road coils. The ride was very close to stock. Changing the stock springs out for Eibachs and setting the 5100s at .85 netted a better ride in my opinion. The spongy-ness was gone and the front end felt tighter/stiffer

I have a 2013 Tacoma with 25000 miles on it. Fairly new in my opinion, most of my driving is done in the city with freeways.

I put 5100s @ 1.75 on my '15 at 10000 miles with stock springs and love the ride. Have 5100s on the rear as well. The ride has just enough stiffness to know you've upgraded but still has manners for highway use. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good balance.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
I've got a first gen so things are a bit different, but Eibachs with 5100s set at 0 for me are pretty good. They are definitely firm but they handle well. That being said I'm still looking to upgrade to something better, but for now these scratch the itch pretty well.

I put 5100's and the eibach's on mine and the top plates for the full 3 inches. I'm very satisfied. Truck felt much better than with the stock setup. Don't worry too much about it. If you don't like the way it rides after a while, throw your stock springs on and try that out. At least now you have options. Just go out and enjoy your truck or else you will drive yourself mad thinking about what if.

I have 5100s @ .85" with Eibach and it rides as smooth or smoother than OEM. I love it.

running stock TRD off road coils (i make that point as TRD off road coils are progressive wound, and the rest are linear). at 1.75in setting on my 5100's.... no sway bar and SPC UCA's. ride is firmer than stock but its a much welcomed firmness. Rides nice off road, overall very happy with it!

what ever you do, plan on UCA's they will allow the 5100's to droop fully out without the stock UCA hitting coil at droop
