Who spends 3 hours driving because they couldn't spend 3 minutes on the phone before they go?

And who thinks that makes it someone else's fault?

You'll see in at least one of my post somewhere in this thread even the phone call resulted in CHUCK HUTTON TOYOTA LOCATED IN MEMPHIS, TN. AT SHELBY DRIVE AND INTERSTATE 55 LIES ON THE PHONE TOO. Even the phone call after I visted their web site couldn't find the truth. Some sales people are just poor at conducting business.

But, I'm not at all bitter that I drug my handicap family member on a 110 mile round trip drive...not at all.

It's their job to tell you what you need to hear to get you in the dealership

I sold new (and used) Toyota products in my previous life & I understand the motivation.

I made my first contact via website, followed by an email & then a phone call to confirm specifically what they had on the lot. While I agree getting me to the dealership is part of the goal there's no situation where CHUCK HUTTON TOYOTA telling a good and previous customer a lie is good business. I don't care what the motivation is...

Chuck Hutton Toyota is the second closest dealership to my house & ad such has sold me vehicles in the past. But CHUCK HUTTON will NEVER sell me another anything. And as long as I can share my story and recommend other dealers they won't sell to anyone else either.

And apparently Toyota agrees. Toyota opened an investigation after I provided the email trail and I recieved contact and confirmation from the manufacture & the dealership that was not the conduct they expected from the sales staff.
