17 Years old saved up money to finally upgrade from the abysmal stock system.
Right now I'm gonna upgrade the front and back speakers with focal 6x9 and tweets. The sub is what I'm really having trouble with I don't wanna have a sealed box that goes behind the back seats but also don't wanna a ghetto rigged box with the seat belt around it box. So right now I'm looking at anyway I can get a ported 12" box that can fit a sundown zv4. revision 2. I don't mind giving up the middle back seat to fit a box so does anyone have any ideas or has seen someone similar in my position.

What about a ported box behind the seat? Or boxes? I have two of the JL microsubs (8 inchers). They hammer pretty damn hard for 8s. I love them. I had this installed at a shop, but if you have the tools and motivation I don't think it would be too bad to do yourself.image.jpg

Yes shouldn't be that hard. You can either get 2 bucket seats and do a rear console setup But :

The other option is to disassemble the back rest of the rear seat and remove the 40 portion from the 40/60 backrest and build a box that goes there and portion of the seat.

A ported box in the middle is gonna be tricky, You need a min of 2cf NET for that sub to work well so the there isnt to much there

Wtf is that ^^^^^ lol don't get that... Your gonna try to get a zv4 in a tiny box... You could cut out the under seat compartments and put a dual sundown x8 setup your 17... You don't need a back seat if you want a zv4 get an 18 and delete the rear seat
