2014 issues already

I don't see how a warranty is transferable from a grey market seller to a factory install but I'll mention it to my dealer next time i'm in.
Went out today just to compare some things from our Rav with factory and the Tacoma and it came back to my settings on start up.
I did remove the SD Card a few times last time it messed up so maybe that helped or not. Will find out tomorrow morning with fingers crossed.
I don't use the maps for more than the traffic alerts but in SoCal that can be important and I've become dependent upon it.
I wonder if it is something hardware wise in the unit if it can be easily repaired or software would an Update help?

 

Try rebooting the HU by holding in the on/off button for 10 seconds while the phone is connected via Bluetooth and your on WIFI. Also reboot the phone. It's worth a try!

 

I did a reboot HU and phone has never been a problem before or after. I have a dumb phone and no WiFi. Still haven't been out today to see if my last fix still is working or if it will happen again.

 

Drove around doing errands yesterday for a couple of hours and no glitches at all so far.
The last thing i did on XMAS Eve was to eject the sd card with the HU on and re-insert.
Maybe that was the fix or maybe not.
