Waiting on my method double standards to come in but I'm making sure I got the right offset. I was told I need 0/4.5 which was the same. Will that give my truck a wider stance ? I lifted the front and left the rear stock (after having blocks I took them out). Any photos of your stance with that same wheel ? I'm running 33's on stocks at the moment with no rubbing at all.

The larger the offset, or smaller the backspacing, the farther out they stick out.
Keep in mind, the farther out you push the wheels, the more likely you'll come in contact with the pinchweld.

4.5" backspace is pretty much the money number with 2nd gens to avoid rubbing with 33's

0 offset is pretty good. Wide stance, but don't stick out too much. Mine are the same, but on 265/75-16.

Not entirely sure what you mean?
But...a smaller backspacing will push the wheels out farther from the frame, giving a "wider stance" as you put it.

I guess 4.5 and zero are the same thing from what people are telling me.

So 0 offset will be a wider wheel base than stock?

4.5" backspacing is equivalent to a 0 offset on an 8" wide wheel.
Backspacing and offset are two different ways of measuring the same thing.

    Yes

So this should give me the stance I want as well then.

    Yep.

Offset is the the measurement of the center of the wheel to the mounting surface of the wheel. 0 offset simply means the mounting surface is dead center of the wheel. +32 mm offset would put the mounting surface closer to the face of the wheel, the part you see when looking at the side of your truck.

Back space is the measurement from the mounting surface of the wheel to the back edge, or lip of the wheel.

I'm gonna go with yes. I'm not an expert on second gen factory wheels, but depending on whether you have 16's or 17's I believe the backspacing is between 5" and 5.25". So with a 4.5" backspacing you'll push the wheels out wider about 1/2" on each side.

Okay cool, I was very confused when I told them 4.5 and they said that's 0.
