I'm running a solid set of motor mounts and the stock trans mount. No need to plate the stock mount.

That transmission mount is a thing of beauty.

I'm mean running a set your guys motor mounts and boxing in the factory trans mount
I'm 4x4 and its way wider on the transfer case so to do it like yours the bushing would be around 4" wider. So would it be ok to have Poly motor mounts with my factory transfer case mount boxed in making it solid no poly

The whole term "solid" is meaning the bushings arent as soft as stock. If you have one thats softer than the rest it will allow everything to still move and cause more damage since its trying to move independently of each other

i think most people would disagree.. solid has no bushing at all. Anything else is just a harder bushing.

Throwing it out to you guys first, seats out of my truck for sale. Look like PRP but have no labels. Have sliders that kinda work, one needs the connecting cable hooked up again, the other has one lock mechanism that is frozen but can be made to work again. Thinking $450 obo for the pair in OC, CA. Open to offers.

Solid gets used wrong. It usually means poly or delrin bushings. When you want it truly fixed you usually use a motor plate and even then we use brass bolts so they shear rather than breaking the block or tranny.

Whatever kind of mount you use, match them, don't do poly for the engine then completely solid on the tranny. Id recommend poly for motor and trans

My doors are the only stock things left besides the headlights
Finally got around to chopping the old ends off and putting ends on to match the fenders... Looks more finished.... Gunna make a new bumper this summer so I can cage the engine so this will do

So, if I throw on my 'solid' motor mounts and leave the trans mount stock, will the trans mount bushings wear out faster?

Just make them all match. If you want to use jello as mounts, that's fine. Just use jello for all of them.

Did you not cycle the passenger side with the air box in?
