Still waiting

After my Tacoma arrived in early Nov without the tow package we ordered another one. DCSBTRDOR manual. The first order they gave me a build date within 2 weeks of ordering. The 2nd taco I ordered has now been 7 weeks and I still don't have a build date in sight. Any idea what the delay is. The salesman said he can't call anyone to see if there is a hold up. He said he can on check the computer to see my go anything has changed. I'm getting furious because of how long this is taking. The original salesman I was aquintances with and he gave me a family discount. But he got a job else where so I feel like the dealership is screwing me because they don't want to sell me a truck at that price when there salesman isn't even there anymore. What do you guys think? Should I just back out and go elsewhere?

 

Hi I ordered a DC trd or 6mt also on oct 15. Cancelled after 8 weeks. No build date, no estimate no nothing. This was from the biggest dealer in PA. The 6mt OR is a rare bird

 

There's only something like 7 to 10 7545s per build cycle per region. Two build cycles per month. Allocations happen at the start of the month and mid month. Yes, it's a special snowflake but not unattainable. Get a couple other dealer submitting allocation requests on your behalf and up your odds if need be.

 

I ordered a DCSB TRD Sport 4x4 Black fully loaded Oct 31st and was told 4 to 6 weeks. It's been 8 weeks and no word yet. I'm in Northern California at a dealer in San Jose. The dealer says he tried every other dealer in the state to get me what I want but no luck, so we ordered it. Does anyone have an idea of when I should reasonably expect to get my new truck? I'm bummed, I sold my 99 TRD 4x4 Limited on Craigslist in 15 minutes. I was thinking I could go to a dealer and have one within a few days. LOL silly me I guess...

 

Ordered my 7545 DCSB OR 6MT 10/23 just got conformation of order last Monday. Still no build date or delivery date. Had to call customer service and open a case to get Gulf States Toyota Distribution to pick up the order.

 

I ordered a 7545 on November 30 and got a build date of January 27 about 16 days later.
