I have big off road tires that I ride on but my spare is the stock oem size. If I ever get a flat tire, is using one of those fix a flat cans good enough? Or should I just go ahead and use the spare?

Fix a flat will throw the balance of the tire way off. Best bet would be tire repair kit or buy a spare that's correct size.

Your spare tire only needs to be the same diameter as what you have on, so that it doesn't mess up the ABS , traction control, etc.
