Truck Camping Photo Thread

I used to visit this one frequently when I had my 2nd Gen. I searched but didn't see one for the 3rd Gen yet. Let's see some photos of camping with the 3rd Gen. I don't care if it's camping in the back of the truck, tent camping, or trailer camping. I'm sure some of you guys have already been out camping with it. I'll be going this weekend to the local KOA campground, but I don't have any pics yet with my 3rd Gen.

 

Yeah I thought it was just a general thread, but turns out it's stuck on the 2nd gen sub forum. Oh well, guess we can just start a new one.

 

Sub'd. It's finally winter here in upstate NY, so I have a few months before I'll be posting any camping pics for now, I'll settle for living vicariously through you guys

I'm excited to go camping though. Plan on buying a Softopper to use as a tent out of the bed.

Not on this trip,but I have been fishing the Upper Potomac for 30 years. The smallmouth fishing is really good, it does not produce a lot of big fish, but a bunch in the 14- 17 inch range. My biggest has been 20 inch. I love this area and there's a great local store/bar that I have spent some quality time in(Bills Place).

 

That sounds good. I've been wanting to go get some fishing done lately but haven't had the time. 14-17 would actually be considered decent where I go. I think the biggest I've managed to get so far in the area where I go was a tad over 17.

Walked through Dick's Sporting Goods today, browsed through camping gear...winter in NY has only just begun, need summer now!!

Just watched this video on setting the A-frame pop up camper, up. Pretty simple.

 

The A-frame campers are very easy to tow and set-up, this is my second one. I had a Coleman pop-up camper for about 4 months and got tired of the set-up and break-down hassle, especially if your in the rain.

 

Anybody know what these A frame pop ups cost on average??
