Been looking to buy 2016 Tacoma and came across "lugging" issue with v6 auto, along with mpg and torque complaints. I'm sensitive to the lugging thing because I bought a 2013 ford focus and they f++ked up with their auto double clutch transmission deals and although I like the car I hate that I bought a brand new car that sputter and rattles on me.

ANYWAY, is it worth looking a models from the last few years if I can find one?

Going with a new-used model won't really save me much since tacos have such high resale value...but curious to hear input from those with newer models and '16's.

There are still plenty of '15s sitting on lots that you can get deals on.
