Getting Add-Ons for the 2016 Tacoma

This has been a REAL pain in the ass! I can't get wheel locks, mud flaps, and a simple chrome tail pipe add on without getting reamed by the dealers! WHAT"S UP TOYOTA!!!!!

 

Do you mean that they're pricey AND hard to get?

 

Being hard to locate is one thing, but I don't see many people have issues locating those items you mentioned. Being pricey is normal for dealers to overcharge for these things. I wouldn't consider not wanting to pay the price being a pain in the ass honestly. If they are not able to locate any and you've tried multiple dealers, yes that could be a pain in the ass. You not wanting to pay the price, well, that is what it is. Check other sites online and see what prices you can find. Look into trdparts4u.toyotaofdallas.com and see if they have what you want.

 

Right now , most dealers are not getting much parts stock from Toyota... never mind not really getting many Taco's to sell either.
Parts will slowly trickle in for most dealers after the new year as Toyota ramps up production for parts & trucks.
There is stuff out there to get , you have to dig for now.. try other dealers (toyotaofdallas.com, eBay, etc.)

 

WHY would u buy anything add-on from the dealer? Go to Amazon.com and u can get pretty much anything u need OEM for 40-50% off the selling price at the dealership....

I bought my OEM exhaust tips for $55 delivered .....Toyota charges $90
I bought my OEM bed mat for $80 delivered .....Toyota charges $120ish
I bought my OEM tow package "plug" for $9 delivered...Toyota charges $20
I bought my GF's 2015 Corolla OEM all weather floor mats for $65 delivered....Toyota charges $130
I bought my GF's 2015 Corolla OEM mud flaps for $41 delivered...Toyota charges $80

I getting ready to order the OEM tailgate step for $125 delivered....Toyota charges $225

Ebay also has good prices!
