Above is a video of my shifter being wiggled around. Does anyone know how cans I fix this? It's bad. I mean when I drive over bumps in the road that thing goes crazy. It used to be worse before I tightened up the linkage. It was so loose it would knock itself into 2nd

My last taco that was automatic, would shift itself into neutral when OffRoad. It was bad.

Replace the four bushings in the lever mechanism. Mine was like yours and now is super tight.

You have to remove the whole shifter assembly. Its pretty easy:

    Remove the plastic around
unbolt the shift assembly from the floor (8 bolts i think).
Disconnect the wiring in the shifter assembly
go under the truck and disconnect the shifter from the transmission shifting lever (one bolt). Mark the place where they are connected.
Pull the whole shifter into the cabin.
You will see the first pivot bolt, in each side of the bolt should seat one bushing, replace both. As i remember, to remove this bolt you have to remove the shift lock actuator, just be careful.
The second pivot is hidden inside the dust cover, remove this and do the same with the bushes.
