You can put it in 4 high. You need to stop to put it in low

Yes, you can go back and forth between 4x4 and 2 wheel drive mode while moving.

Yes into 4H, but you need to stop to put it in 4L.

    :burnrubber:

You can keep it in drive to switch from 2W to 4X4H

Keep it in drive. Put it in neutral only for 4L.

You engage 4HI while in drive, I think you're supposed to be driving in a straight line though, I could be wrong. I've engaged 4HI while doing 55mph no issues. 4LO however you need to be stopped and in Neutral.

I engage mine to pull out into the passing lane, for a pass, when that lane is full of slush and snow..... just turn the knob and back off the gas pedal till the 4x4 light stays "on", not blinking..... then pass and get back on bare pavement and shut her off the same way....just back off the gas pedal so the truck is not got forward power or engine breaking....

You can do this up to 100km/hour.... (62.5 MPG)

Should probably read the owner's manual. Lists when, where and how to use 4x4.
