I was wondering if I were to switch out my stock head unit on my 2013 Tacoma with a Kenwood screen with a back up camera slot in the back. If when I backed up the camera would show up on the screen or still in my rearview? and if so, is there anyway to prevent it from doing this? I would like to keep it showing in my rearview mirror.

So you want the rear view camera on both head unit and rear view mirror?

Then just leave wiring as is and install the head unit like normal the wiring for the rear view mirror goes through the head liner so you should have no issues just don't plug anything in the slot in the head unit
