    Some shops just don't want to be bothered by it, some don't know how to do it and some just want to make it seem like a big deal so they can charge a healthy coin for it. But there's just nothing complicated about it for the shops with the right scan tool and those willing to do it.

    As I mentioned, Tire Discounters is completely cool with doing it. Doesn't do you any good...as you said you have none in your area, though.

    I think back when I bought my first truck in 1975. It had no dam sensors. Lol , I think when the batteries shit the bed in my sensors I'll go back to the conventional ones! Ha!

    I put '15 OEM 16" OR Brand New tire package with the new sensors in them on my'14 and it took them about 45 minutes with two different scanning tools to get it done at Toyota. :facepalm:
