2014 gray Tacoma quad cab rWD TRD
I've had my 2014 quadcab short bed, color gray, for less than a month. It has 4WD, the tow package and off road suspension. Wow. Quite an upgrade from my 95 jeep Cherokee I've since sold. (I still have a 90 Cherokee and a parts 95 Cherokee. I will get rid of the parts jeep but not the 90 Cherokee. Have told my wife I need a backup although I admit my justification is minimal.) I live just west of Kansas City in Kansas and do a lot of pheasant and quail hunting here in Kansas, and need a camper shell so I can haul my german shorthairs and not let them in the cab--promise to my wife. She isn't too keen on the smell of wet dogs that (she says) permeates the jeeps. And I want a long distance hauler for my cedar strip canoe I made. I borrowed a vehicle to take my canoe to the Boundary Waters in NE Minnesota last year as my jeeps with over 200,000 miles were perhaps less than dependable. Didn't want a breakdown on such a long drive. Looking forward to being able to haul my canoe and my wife a long distance without worry. If anyone has a used topper shell for my Tacoma for sale within driving distance, please let me know.
