New '08 Taco - v6 4x4 TRD Sport DCSB

Howdy all!

I was looking to purchase a new vehicle a little less than a year ago. I was torn between a Tacoma and an s2000. (Yeah, real similar... I know.) I figured I'd go with the s2k because there's not many times in life when you can manage to swing a two door convertible as a daily driver. I had my fun and decided to unload the Honda to get myself a Taco. Not being able to carry anything with me was getting old, when I like to go camping and shooting and biking.

I was doing some research, both here and elsewhere, and looking to buy a Tacoma. Lo and behold, I see this post go up in the for sale section while I'm browsing! I immediately post and PM... and here I am, the proud new owner of the aforementioned tastefully-modified beast of a Tacoma.

Warm and balmy until a couple days ago- then we got crapped on with an ice storm of sorts.

 

what's that black thing in the bed of the truck on the right side up by the cab?

 

Exactly why I moved to Texas- you don't have to shovel heat!

 

It's a holder of sorts. I'm actually not exactly sure what it's for, although it looks pretty well set up to hold fishing rods. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what it is.

 

Ah... that was my guess.
