Sounds like u kinda have your mind made up about canti. If ur gonna do canti at least door under the bed. I believe I was told the one on Eddie's truck was done by frontline to show what they could do as an advertisement dealio. @nelson18matt k ones better I think

I agree with the rest just do a bed saver cage with 16"s. The 12"s can be sold easy. U would be happier for all the reasons stated... But it's also usually much cheaper too!

Gonna cage my taco pretty soon here, I'm thinking whether to keep the most of the stock interior or not? Have seen cab cages with both on 1st gens and not sure, I see anthony250f's has it still and looks good. But like everyone I want to get most head room and space possibly a small third seat and still looking good.

    Yes
That carpet is too thick for any over the counter spray adhesive to work...and that exposed area has too many compound curves it will never bend over all of those curves. IMO your best best would be to cut the current carpet in a nice clean straight line and then go to an auto upholstery supply and buy what they call ozite carpet ( speaker box carpet ) it has no backing and is super stretchy and light to use for that back area. It comes in a million colors too. If you clean the floor really good and scuff it with a scotch pad and use the spray glue on the floor AND the back of the carpet it will stick really well and mold around those contours. Just remember it is contact adhesive it only sticks to itself so you need real good coverage on both the floor and the carpet.

I think if I had a fully caged rig like that I would just rip out all of the carpet and do that DIY monstaliner roll on bed liner stuff on the whole floor...would be a hell of a lot more durable for a truck that sees so mush dirt.

You would be surprised how much quieter carpet make a truck that has vibration being brought in from tubes. Race truck problems lol but I was rocking just a bare can for a while and it drove me nuts I put down 2 layers of sound deadening on the floor and roof and installed carpet and make life much more tolerable

this, residential carpet what that hard backing wont stick and wont hold form without a lot of effort. You'd be better off with the sub box type and some jute pad underneath it if you wanted some deadener.

Yea just go get some fleece stuff. Id add some raam Matt or something for road noise and then the carpet over the top. I used fleece for my sub box and it worked great.

Got the process started on the links! Started dropping off parts at the shop who will be handling the business. Gonna get the truck cut in half next weekend or the one after, depends on my work schedule.
