I'm experiencing a wobble in my rear tire on the passenger side. It's a 2005 Tacoma 4x4 the rim is not bent and tire is good but I'm not sure what could be causing the wobble. If anyone who has experienced this sort of issue can share some information on what can be changed or fixed it would help a lot.

Can you see it physically wobbling or does it just feel like its bouncing while you drive?

U try a rotation and see if the wobble follows the wheel?

^^what he said. If so then it's probably a wheel weight fell off or the tire has broken a belt or something along those lines

I didn't try that I was going to take it to the alignment shop and see if they can tell me what's going on. I'm just worried it might be worse than what I think

Yeah if they have a machine that's capable, get them to road force balance it

U sure the tires are good? May not be easy to see with naked eye if out of round and a fubar belt

I've seen bent axles on Tacomas from accidents or abuse. How did you diagnose the wobble?

Friend saw the wobble from behind when it's on the road.

Sometimes that can be misleading. Jack up the rear of the truck just off the ground and place a socket next to the tread. Spin the tire by hand, truck in neutral and front tires block, and look for a wobble as indicated by the socket.

Yeah i can't how it would wobble unless the rims bent or the actual hub/axle shaft is bent

I'd say 1st start with the easiest Clean any mud off the tires (sometimes at speed if there's uneven amount of mud it can make it look like the tires moving weird, make sure you have the correct lug nuts to your wheels and they are torqued, rotate the tires to see if it is that tire and go from there.
