Shell Cargo Mod

    Here is a little mod I did to organise the loose small stuff in my shell. I did not know if it belonged here or in the frugal mod thread, but here we go:

    It's basically cargo net baskets accessible from the side opening windows.

    It's quite simple to do. All you need is half inch electrical conduit and some snow or gardening fence and some tarp rings (sold in hardware store for 4$ including crimping tool). I wanted to use cargo net but could not find any to my taste (thanks Des for the help). The conduits snaps in place in the cleats on the ceiling of the shell:

    It can also be removed in a snap.
    As for the bottom part, I used a couple of angles lying around the garage and painted them black. The fence is slit where they go through.
    The conduit just rest there and is maintained in place by gravity.

    And the whole thing folds for storage.

    This is a great mod and very functional thanks for sharing, now I am glad I haven't ordered my topper yet, considering windoors as well. Thanks Pat.
