@KMKtacoma That thing is a steal if it's actually running well. I've seen them for 6k, even rust-free, but never without needing an entirely new engine and probably more.

They scrapped wholesale for 8k back in 2011, that's what USAA needed for me to buy mine back that got totaled. Whoever sold you that thing is not terribly bright.

20k is too much unless you want a museum piece (as I've learned now). I believe you knew what you were doing, but 6k is *generally* too little.

From what I've learned, I got lucky. It is completely stock... Pretty much zero problems. Except for:

    1. Slight thump/knock in front end over certain slow bumps... Probably bushings
    2. Tires are pretty bald.

I took it on a 1 hour test drive and looked over it for a very long time. I have now driven it 3k miles with no problems. Drives very nice and has good power

Dude, if you were a close friend of mine and presented me with this thread, I'd slap you right in the cocksucker for even entertaining the thought of dropping 20k for that. That's crazy pricing. :smack:

@opteron Thanks, good to know! As long as it'll start reliably I'm happy :). My 2.7 was literally 2 cranks and it was going, if it went higher it meant the engine needed work. 10F it might take 3... longest it ever took was 3 rounds of 8 cranks and that was camping at negative 25F (the starter disengaged the first 2 times making a horrible noise, I assume because various parts were a bit frozen in place).
