Hey I have a 2011 dclb with 127xxx miles. I recently blew out my spider gears and now I'm afraid somethings wrong with my trans. It will randomly shift very hard into 2nd or 3rd gear and when it downshifts into 2nd or first. Anyone have any clue what I could to problem solve this? Thank you!

I would start off by investing in a fluid change. Check the pan/filter for clutch material, maybe some metal. Expect some clutch material at 127k. A good flush is good because it gets cooler and some old fluid in converter out. This MAY make a difference but is a cheap or cheaper way to check the tranny out. It could be other factors as well electrical or mechanical but you might think of this first. Just sayin.

Check fluid level by doing a drain and fill while warm and then refill with 3 qts 2 ozs WS Fluids,I always use ws synthetics as Amsoil ! Problems solved !
