I am sure someone has already done this and this is probably the shittiest tutorial going...but..

So. I apologize in advance, but I think Toyota seats are hideous. My forerunner ones were, my kids 2002 Sequoia ones are, my wifes 2011 Sequoia ones are and my 2005 Tacomas are. Flame away, I don't give a crap. :p
I have had a few BMW's in the past and love the seats in my Mercedes that I presently own, so I took it upon myself to find some BMW sport seats from a early 2000's 335is.
It took me a bit of time to find full manual cloth ones, but I did and after a bit of tweaking I rigged them up and made them safe. Well...sort of as I had no airbags. :)

So, like many I am sure, I searched for emulators for the Toyota pressure switches. The only ones I found were these:
    http://www.metaltech4x4.com/p-604-ocs-module-20-w-airbag-resister.aspx

I figured what the hell, I am a fricking rocket scientist, I can make these work. (I am, in fact borderline iddddiot...my wife tells me all the time.)
    I ordered 'em.
Shipping was pretty quick, especially considering the holidays.
looked at my seat wiring, rapidly became aware that I needed to pull the main box from under the seat and set it in. I did so, plugged in the factory plug, then the emulator into the box. I realized there was another harness coming from my floor and assumed it was for the seatbelt wiring. I then looked back at my stock seat and noticed a mating plug to it on the opposite side. I carefully snipped off the plug, leaving about a two inch pig tail...then cut the main harness that has a corresponding two wires coming off it...shortened it, pigtailed it, attached them and figured WTF...if it blows it blows. :D (see what I did for you? risked my life I tell ya!)
So as hard as I made it sound...thats it. nothing more. plug n play with the exception of two wire connection that will make even more sense when its in your hands.
And, for the record, mine is taped only temporarily for testing purposes. it WILL be soldered and shrinkwrapped.
I then popped off the little trim cover next to the glovebox and dremmeled a hole for the airbag "on off" switch, snaked the wires and boom. :D
