So...I bought a pair of OME 887 assembled struts from a fellow member and want advice on rear springs and hopefully part numbers.
I am assuming I want Dakar springs but not sure who to get them from (Canada, eh?)...also, which shocks? and do I need UCAs with the OME stuff? Brake line extensions?

I tried to contact Ouipack a number of times and haven't recieved a response. I didn't call...I figured if they can't answer email, well, fork em.
any members sell this stuff and ship to Canada reasonably?

I will be running an ARB and a winch in the future, probably a camper shell too. Thoughts? am I on the right track?

I have a set of All Pro multi leaf springs on the back of my truck. Really helps while pulling the car trailer, or when we load the back with camping gear, and take off for a week of back country exploring. They were about $500. Well worth the money if your are hauling anything.

I'm running a three inch lift, with Fox struts in the front, different upper control arms, and the allpro rear springs. Allpro rock sliders, allpro front skid, had to build my own middle and rear skid, as I have a Taco 4.7 box in my truck. 33x12.50x17x9 inch rims, Mickey Thompson MTZ tires. I actually use my truck offroad for hunting fishing, back country exploring, and crawling over rocks. Do you live in southern cal?

Nope...great white north, eh? :) SW Ontario, Canada. Excuse my ignorance, but Taco 4.7 box? What is this?
My truck sees mostly back road use, but the 10% of time it goes off road it goes in hideous scary places where I have to be able to self extricate and can't afford to break down. Kind of a one extreme to another. And, to be clear...this Taco has only seen mild trails, its my past trucks I refer to. :)
So the OME 887 should give me three inches, and the Allpros will match height. hows the ride??

Naturally with stiffer springs it's going to ride a little rougher. But it is minor. When I had the stock springs I had an ice chest, and two 5 gallon cans of gas on the rear, and the stock spring were bottoming out. With the all pro's it rides like a Cadillac when loaded.

A 4.7 taco box from Marlin Crawler in Fresno, give me two transfer cases. Also now I have a true neutral for towing. I have the stock transfer 2.7 reduction, or 4.7 reduction, or I can engage them both, giving me a 12 - 1 reduction. With the 4.7 I can engage it in two wheel drive. With the 4.7 I now have a true neutral for towing. Before I had to drop the rear driveshaft.
